ECKA DISCUP is a modern dispersion-strengthened copper material of excellent mechanical, thermal and electrical properties, characteristic of significant resistance to high wear (abrasion) and of particularly good performance in high temperatures.

Comparative examinations of the material indicate that ECKA DISCUP displays a loss of its hardness by 10% only in temperatures as high as 1000 C. The CuCrZr materials used so far lose their properties already when exposed to 600 C.
