In a modular DF bag filter, the needled cloth is regenerated by means of compressed air on-line (during the operation of the filter). The easy to remove pipes of injectors are mounted in one row with parts of the filter inside the clean gas chamber.
The regeneration process starts thanks to an impulse of compressed air with sucked-in secondary air, which is at the same time injected into two neighbouring rows of filter bags. The cleaning impulse flows in a direction opposite to the stream of polluted gas, and several impulse impacts easily remove the layer of the dust from the outside surface of the filter bags.

Thanks to its relatively simple design and low cost, the presented system is the basis for the construction of the smallest compact filters and equipment which is operated in difficult conditions
