German producer of OPTIC-TACTILE COORDINATE MEASURING MACHINES 3D has wide array of such machines on the offer. Many models of the machines is a result of the long lasting tradition and activity on the European markets. In Poland Werth has been present for several years and has a lot of interest from customers.
Different models of such machines will be described in the following articles. This article contains the description of coordinate measuring machine 3D CNC, that traditional construction on the surface has something more to offer.
Scope-Check MB 3D CNC has measuring table made of granite with exceptional strength and accuracy. Because of such a construction, it is possible to measure details with the weight even to several hundreds kilograms.
Scope-Check MB can be equipped with several measuring probes. It is worth to emphasize that the probes may be added with time. The main measuring probe that allows to 3D measurement, is optics. Head takes advantage of the advanced image processor recognition system. WinWerth® Software knows the place of each pixel on the CCD matrix of the head. That is why it is possible to make an optical measurement acquiring such a high accuracy, applying image and contour filters at the same time. Contour filters application is rather popular while image filters usage is rare, and only a few producers can offer them. Additionally, optics has 10 grades optical zoom, that makes this system work as a measuring microscope.
Scope-Check MB construction. Measuring table is made of granite and the bridge is movable. There would be nothing special about the Werth construction on the surface if it were not pane plate put on the granite. Because of that, we can obtain measuring projector functions which uses reflecting light (diode system on the optic’s side) and transmitted light in the whole measuring range of the machine.
The slat which goes after machine’s bridge is the source of the transmitted light. Pane can be taken off at any time, because of the holders’ and connectors’ system. All those solutions allows to obtain numerical measuring projector with a wide measuring range at the really low expense.
Moreover, it is possible to add every tactile measuring probes to such equipped machine (on the offer of Renishaw, light pipes WFP, laser (laser LLP photo nr 2) probe parking system). The use of optical and tactile head gives almost unlimited opportunities. Such multisensored coordinate measuring machine takes on a whole new dimension, allowing to replace numerical measuring microscope and projector that it undoubtedly reduces operating costs such as calibration, training, survey, service with only one software and space saving.
