1. Indexes of the early phase of hepatitis B
During the early phase of acute hepatitis B and when one’s chronic hepatitis B becomes acute, PreS2-Ag can be detected in his/her serum. In addition, before ALT rises, PreS2-Ag will rise to some extent and its peak value is often parallel to HBV DNA and comes about 11 weeks earlier than the ALT peak value.
